The Fairy Garden

A few weeks ago my family and I celebrated my sister Kerry's 28th birthday. My mum, Kerry and i went to the old thatch tea rooms in the old village of Shanklin (iow). The tea room is on the number 3 bus route, at the bottom of the old village. You can't miss it, the tea room is painted pink! Each room has its own theme it's very quirky, fresh and cosy until you're led outside by the friendly staff members. I was taken aback by the creative, enchanting and secluded garden, named the fairy garden. Everywhere you look there was more fairies, it's such a magical little place with big imagination. We ordered fresh scones with clotted cream, jam and a pot of tea. It only cost £4.95each this was very reasonable and possibly the best cream tea I've ever had. Next time we go we'll take Poppy as she will love it.
One of the best things about living on this island is the little treasures you find along the way, there's so much more around this little island, you just have to find them!

I hope you enjoyed the fairy garden tour
Lots of love

Jane Eyre at The Mayflower theatre

A night at the theatre with @sotonbloggers

I've always been a theatre lover and I've seen many shows at the Mayflower theatre over the years, so when I was invited to see Sally cooksons new adaptation of Charlotte bronte's novel Jayne eyre last night, I had to be there. We were given Great seats where we sat comfortably waiting for the show to begin. I honestly had no idea what to expect on this "new take" of the novel, it was also a great time to announce the tour as 2017 is the 170th anniversary of when Jane eyre was first published. the highly acclaimed co-production between the national theatre and the Bristol old vic.
Jayne Eyre, played by the amazingly talented Nadia Cliford, shows her beginnings as a destitute orphan overcomes life's obstacles from surviving poverty, injustice, betrayal and the ultimate decisions on following her heart. While others may of found the thought of Jayne Eyre on stage might not of been their cup of tea I can honestly say…

positive vibes only!

Outfits and Body confidence!

Here are my favourite 12 outfits of 2016. Last year i learnt to be more confident with clothes during my weightloss journey. I covered up at the start of the year as I felt uncomfortable although I had lost 2st at this point I still didn't feel me!
It wasn't untill my wedding day that I totally gave up on what people thought. I gave up pressuring myself to loose weight quickly as I couldn't be bothered with people making losing weight a competition. As the Rest of the year went on, I began to feel confident in body and enjoyed clothes again, I felt no pressure and I felt content as I have been working hard for my health and fitness goals.
I am 4lb away from my target goal and I have offically lost 3st 10lb. 2015-2016. I run 3/4 times a week Staying fit and healthy to be a good role model for poppy and my husband... also to be a better me physically and mentally.

You don't need money to be stylish part 2

The tables and centre pieces for my wedding!

It's been a year since I wrote "you don't need Money to be stylish", which was a post on charity shops. I had such a great response to this and lots of you loved the idea that my now husband converted me into a charity shop bargain hunter ha ha ha. Since then we've had our daughter and gotten married, during both of these times we're still all about saving! during the planning of our wedding we wanted a rustic/hobbit themed wedding (don't worry we didn't dress up as hobbits) we also wanted to use our money wisely and not break the bank!
Tables & The centre pieces: we opted for wild-like flowers which were all bought from Morrisons! The bunches come to £1.20 each (bought 6) used for 4 tables and the head table. We bought the crystal glass bottles from poundland ,at obviously, £1 per bottle (10 bottles ).the table numbers were from the works that came in a pack of 4 for £1, all the artificial flowers on…
